7:12 PM meeting called to order.
Old and new exec board meeting.
This week's meeting: Karaoke Tues 05.08, 8-12
Other expenditures: lunch w/ ASC, senior gifts, Eric Byler still needs to get back to us
Advice from old exec to new exec:
-work more w/ alumni; good connection w/ faculty
-get ASC up and running earlier; keep personal contact w/ them
-make e-mails more interesting so people show up
-reports from treasurer every 2 weeks
-be on-time to meetings
-prez and VP should work closely together
-support the prez, try not to talk behind people's backs
-process of bringing people to Vassar: who do you want to bring? budget? talk to them, go to SARC intern, reserve day and place 2 weeks in advance.
New/other things:
-keep the little sib-big sib program going
-have the ASC plan events
-maintain the website or a blogspot
-being more transparent with president about budget issues
-work with board
-build relations with SOC groups and freshmen
